Organisation Development Toolkit - Introduction

Introduction

The LAWS Organisation Development toolkit aims to assist local authorities who have chosen to adopt one or more of the LAWS products to understand and determine the impact of implementing these products on their organisations.

The toolkit has six sections:

• Introduction
• The organisation to support APLAWS Content Management System
• The organisation to support Community Modules
• Transactional Services
• Organisation Migration Guidelines
• Capacity Planning

The toolkit in context:

• It is aimed at new adopters, not experienced practitioners
• It aims to describe / help new adopters determine the organisational impact once the LAWS products have been implemented, not to describe the team(s) that is required to actually implement the product
• It aims to provide guidance as to what to be thinking about and the potential impacts when implementing LAWS products. It does not aim to provide a “one size fits all” solution or approach
